Dr. Seal is a board-certified psychiatrist with 35 years of experience. He attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine where he graduated with honors. He continued his Psychiatry Training at The Ohio State University Hospitals, where he became Chief Resident. He began his practice as an Air Force psychiatrist and served during Desert Storm.
Following his military service he began a career with the State of Georgia, specializing in severe and persistent mental illness in an inpatient setting. He has extensive experience treating Alcoholism and Drug Addiction, with a special interest in Dual Diagnoses.
He is a Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Georgia for the past 25 years. "Teaching Psychiatry to medical students while treating patients has always been my passion." Dr. Seal is excited to bring this enthusiasm and expertise to the Red Top Wellness Center. He lives in NW Georgia with his wife and 2 bulldogs. His daughters also enjoy careers in medicine. "Over my career, my mission has been to relieve suffering."
