Laura Graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. She then sat for the national exam the same year and became a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
Having a family who dealt with addictions and mental health issues led her to choose this career. She has been in the field for 25 years and worked with people of all ages, abilities, and personal struggles. When not working she enjoys spending time with my friends and family, painting, crafts and volunteering with a homeless cats program.
